Etherwall
Intuitive Ease of use,  High Privacy,  User Private Keys Stored

EtherWall wallet platform is the first Ethereum Classic desktop wallet. It is a free open-source project which supports the Trezor hardware wallet for cold storage of your private keys. This platform has 2 options, a full client mode requires the user download the full Ethereum Classic blockchain, while the thin client mode uses a remote node for validation.

Etherwall wallet platform provides two versions of wallet operation. The first one is the full node client, requiring users to download the full 30GB+ Ethereum blockchain and the second mode is the thin client, in which transactions are validated on a remote Ethereum node. In both modes all the data, including your private keys, are stored on your computer.

Etherewall wallet platform has a simple set-up process and allows you to keep control of your private keys, also allowing the integration with Trezor, a cold storage wallet for cryptocurrency. Also, Etherwall allows users to choose between running on a full node or not.

Summary:

Etherwall allows two modes of operation on the Ethereum chain, in full node and thin client. Because users have to download and configure this software, it can be difficult. Given the fact that this wallet's security has been breached in the past and user's funds have disappeared from their accounts you should be advised to double check the URL when connecting to the thin client.
