The Rock Trading is a European cryptocurrency exchange and an official Ripple gateway. TRT is one of the oldest Bitcoin exchanges still active. Rock Trading does not mention many features in regards to security, but in their six years of activity there haven't been any reports of hacks on the Rock Trading exchange. They provide users with the standard two factor authentication as well as a PIN necessary for performing withdrawals and a separate trading PIN required to create orders and perform trades.

The exchange was created by the The Rock Trading Ltd. The company is based in Malta, with branch offices in Italy and was initially a Virtual Insurance Company in Second Life. The firm was founded by Andrea Medri (CFO) and Davide Barbieri (CTO), two entrepreneurs well-known in the Italian Bitcoin community. Most of their customers are Europeans, and Italy is the most frequent country of origin.
Summary:
The Rock Trading is more of a boutique exchange with its unique features and mostly Italian and European users. It offers a user-friendly, basic platform where trading and exchange can be carried out with ease and speed. Best both for beginners and expert traders, especially users with a Green Address wallet. Security seems good, fees are competitive, but customer support could be better.

The Rock Trading offers competitive fees that depend on user trading volume, the possibility of trading API for integration, easy deposit features, margin trading, and several types of orders. While they do allow full registration, site and feature usage in the US, American users are unable to deposit or withdraw funds using a bank account, but can utilize OKPay instead.
