Huobi Pro Trading Platform is the successor of Chinese Huobi Firewire Network Exchange, having re-registered in Seychelles and moved all users' digital assets. The Chinese exchange is best known for reaching a record amount of daily traded BTC, though there are (unsupported) claims that the company has faked trading volumes on several occasions.

In its current version, Huobi Pro exchange makes it difficult and time consuming for some users to create an account as they keep receiving the confirmation code after the registration session has expired. Functionality might be too limited for a professional trader, but the team is said to be working on adding advanced features for experts. It is not the best platform for beginners.

Huobi managed to move all their users' assets from the Firewire Network to a global station without any security issues. They state the system is built to protect users against DDoS and other potential threats while most digital assets are stored in multi-signature cold wallets, but there is no further information regarding security protocols for the new Huobi Pro platform.

Huobi Pro is the successor of Huobi Firewire Network, a popular Chinese exchange founded in 2013 that had gradually given up margin trading and CNY support due to national government regulations. The new platform was launched in 2017 by Huobi Global Limited. The Seychelles-based company seems to be making efforts to engage international users and shift focus from the Asian market.

Summary:

The Houbi exchange has been around since 2013 and has made a name for itself, especially in the Asian market. The current Huobi Pro platform is still in the process of redefining itself. Failure to provide essential information makes it difficult to use for the crypto novice. However, Huobi is included in the top 20 when it comes to trading volume. At least for experts, it's worth a try.

Functionality:

In its new version, Huobi exchange doesn't support any fiat, nor margin trading or FX. It supports a good number of popular cryptocurrencies and allows some advanced order types, while providing competitive trading fees. However, the platform offers, at this point, no easy way to find details about payment methods or fees for deposits or withdrawals.
